The Mud-Splattered Bride
…see what I did there? The whole Tarantino thing? I’m sure you did..!
I’ve already received a few emails as to what, exactly, a ‘Trash The Dress’ photosession is. Definitely outside of the normal ‘wedding photo’ realm, what happens is the bride (and groom, though often it’s more of a bride-focused set) at some point after her marriage (once the planning, the stress, and the excitement is over), takes her gorgeous gown out one last time for a beautiful, fashionable photosession. Generally this occurs in locations and situations outside of where you would usually wear a wedding dress, though destroying or even dirtying the dress isn’t absoluteley necessary.
This was the first part of the session for Ray & Joyce’s ‘dress annihilation’ session - believe it or not, this is the same dress she later wore in the City series (props to Joyce’s mom for a bang-up cleaning job!). Huge props to Andy King again for the assistance, behind the scenes, and the Title image. Enjoy!
