Court + Pete – Wedding photos at Holcim Waterfront Estate in Oakville

Without a doubt, the hottest day of the year, Court & Pete’s wedding at Holcim Waterfront Estate was truly memorable. An amazing cast of family and friends, coupled with a pair who truly shared a tangible connection, put together a great – and for this photographer, slightly sweaty – event to behold. Andy King with the stellar secondary photographer work in this set, always a huge help and awesome guy to be around.5D3_1233-Edit2T1A3642-Edit

Not often do you find a bride who can get burned by her stylist at the salon by a hair curler and laugh it off. Not sweating the small stuff is what enjoying your wedding is really all about.

No need for conventional shoe shots here.

The stunning female cast of bridesmaids I was lucky enough to spend the day with.

Probably my favourite first look shot ever. Notice the bridesmaids peeking out at the top left window.

Pete a little wet-eyed himself.

Holcim Estate provided an absolutely gorgeous backdrop for us this particular weekend.

Sneak away for a few sunset snaps.

Beautiful girl, beautiful day, handsome man. Who could ask for anything more? May this feeling last forever for you both.

Thomas & Alison – Destination Wedding In Punta Cana

So, this is a blog post that was a *LONG* time coming, so firstly, hats off to Tom and Alison for their patience on these. ๐Ÿ˜€ Hands down, one of the most rocking parties I’ve attended in a long, long time as a wedding photographer – holding strong to being a professional when so many guests could easily also be people you’d have in your own social circle back home was a bit of a challenge, so our thanks to the whole wedding crew for making us feel so welcome. Also worth noting, the Royalton Punta Cana wedding resort was an awesome venue that took great care of us all, so our thanks to them as well.

This blog post got cut down from 50 images, so I’ll let them speak for themsevles.

Sweet photos bro! I can’t believe you were able to get any pictures without massively sweating clothing! haha
I’m so glad that you were able to attend/shoot our wedding. It wouldn’t have been the same without you. Thank you for capturing these beautiful photos! Super stoked to see the rest! ๐Ÿ™‚

Birth Photography – Introducing Baby Aria Lee Clay, Our First-Born Child

I never really knew what to expect before I before I became a father – though as a wedding photographer, naturally I have photographed my fair share of maternity and newborns, outside of the odd YouTube video, the intersity and experience of a live birth was not something I think I ever could have prepared myself for. Since we were still 3 weeks out from her due date and on our way to see a Blue Jays game, I had thankfully packed my small pocket camera, a Fuji x100s – now, I don’t know if I could recommend an x100s for weddings, but for the birthing, it was excellent. Our story is below.

I came to check out my own wedding photos and couldn’t help but comment on these photos. These are amazing and a great thing to have documented for future years. Great work man and congratulations again!
